Bought the additional mounting kit so I could keep the Window Sucktion mount installed permantly and the Air Vent mount installed permantly as the addition mount kit doesn't come with an extra thumb screw so you have to take it off the original window suction mount to use to connect the Tom Tom one to any other mount 8O
Anyhows how the hell do you get the clips into the air vent - It's impossible ! |

I'd think twice about permanently installing the mount on the windscreen - look through some posts here and it becomes obvious that the thieves are targetting cars with sat nav mounts in the window. |

Word of warning - The additional mount kit isn't really a kit you can use seperatly to the mount kit that comes with the TT1, Not sure if you can buy the original windscreen mount as a seperate item but £20 for the additonal mount kit is a Rip Off. |

HAHA
I have a Pug 306 and I have just put the Air Vent clip there too this morning as it doesn't fit over the Central ones due to the Shape. It doesn't in the Wifes Ford Focus either.
Problem is ther is that it's not in your line of vision. |

the perfect place mate, you look there at your clocks, and mirrors, not so theft viewable, and its descreet,
i took the vent out with a terminal srewdriver and then reoved the slider thingy outt the back and left, and fired it on the slot thats not a air vent mount thats actually the original bracket from the window mount just undid and found it fitted perfectly,
plus when the tom tom isnt on the bracket you can still run the vent with the big hole in the middle,
absolutely spot on!
was ded chuffed when i did it! |
