USA maps on TomTom v5.21

I have USA maps for tomtom which work fine on v.500 but are not recognised with v5.21 is this right or am I missing something. I am using a A201 so cant use v5.00 but the same happens with my m8s Mio 168 USA maps work fine with v5.00 but not v5.21

You have the older 2004 USA maps. As of TTN 5.1 these can no longer be opened by TomTom Navigator.
