Road Angel Navigator ~ European Software Stuff and queries

Hi All,

New to this forum and to GPS in general!! Was seduced into buying this device as it seemed to do everything I wanted without complications!

Can someone tell me is it normal that the unit can sometimes just not lock into the Sat info? I drove for 40 miles the other week before it locked on and then was very sporadic. Heart attack in central Manchester ensued..

Also I have been looking to have Europen software added via the SD slot however at £199.00 a throw is just tooooo much! Can anyone suggest a cheaper way of doing this as I am going on a cross europe trip later this year and would be extremely useful to have to say the least! 8O

Lots of questions however never had so much fun driving round in years since I had this thing..... :D

im affraid youll have to buy the road angel maps as they are the only ones that work with that unit sory
