There are 2 ways to use it.
1. In Change Preferences, goto Page 4 > Toll Charge Preferences and make your choice.
2. If you have chosen, as in above, the option to Ask Me When it Happens you will be asked in The Navigate to .. process if you want to avoid Congestion Charges, but only if your Route would have poassed through any. _________________ Richard

thx oldboy, advanced planning did not offer a choice on whether to avoid the cc, but as you've said it does offer you the choice when using the Navigate to .. function. |

Mine offers it in A to B also. Perhaps the chosen A to B is quicker without going through a CC. _________________ Richard

Hi, I'm VERY new to this but live just on the edge of the congestion zone, when i tried to plot a route through it a pop up screen warned me and offered an alternative route.
West london though you should be fine, especially on the outskirts. |

Hi,
I have found Nav 5 plots around the C-Charge zone brilliantly. I have gone all the way from Shep Bush to Woolwich around the South of the zone and then it re-plotted me around the North of the zone on the way back. Never would have bothered to do that with a map. I found that it was quicker (15-20 mins) than I have ever done it on public transport. Very impressive. I was not driving at the peak of rush hour for your information. Never went into the zone once.
