As I had recently had a new ppc, I purchased another copy of TT5 so I could have TT5 on my old device as well so other half could have gps in his car.

Sods law being fully operational, the old device as broken today!!

Can anyone recommend a (cheap) ppc (he doesn't need it to be a phone) that I can purchase so he can use his xmas present?

Thanks

Liz

Hi Liz

It might be worth checking out the HP Shop on eBay - factory recon units (usually lots of 1710s) that can be good value.

Alternatively, you should be able to pick up a used but good condition 2210 or similar by choosing and bidding diligently on eBay. Or does it have to be brand new?

If my memory doesn't fail me, a couple of the businesses advertising on this site sometimes offer used/recon/old stock items at fairly sensible prices.

Hope this helps.

There have been some factory reconditioned Yakumo Delta 300s with 1-year warranty going cheaply on Ebay recently. I'm told these are the same as the Mitac Mio 168 but under a different badge.

By the way, I'm always confused by this issue, but will Liz's other 'alf be able to use the existing TT 5 licence on a new PPC?

From previous questions, I know that when I get a new device, I will need to persuade TT that I have one by sending them a copy of the invoice.
