My better half is buying me a iCN 520 for xmas and i found a good price so i thought id share it with you guys.

| This is not the premium edition which comes with full street mapping of Europe plus a remote control, but is in fact the standard UK model which comes with major road newtworks of Europe as standard.... Sorry |

Have you bought it then, as a colleague bought from the the website you refer to and it was the standard unit which was shipped.

well ill tell you in about 30mins or so as i did buy one and its getting delivered today i just tracked it and its close by.
If it is the standard one ill have a few complants to make as on the link i posted there was two icn 520's the standad one and the premium one both at diffrent prices so ill let you know.
Did your friend sort it out and get the premium from them. |

He sent it back and got his money back as it was rubbish, and now has a tomtom which he is happy with. |

Well i finally got it and im happy to say YES it is the
Navman iCN 520 premium
so for anyone who wants the premium this is a good price.

The web site specifications for this unit definitely describes it as having Western European street level mapping enclosed on seperate disc.  |

WOuld be nice to be able to purchase this disk seperately as I frequently travel to new cities in Europe and would love to know where the POIs (e.g. cash machines, universities, train stations, etc.) are.
Wonder if its available for a reasonable price? |
