When I got my TT1, I added several 'favourites' and they appeared in a list but now my favourites list also shows a keyboard.
This is obviously to allow me to type in the start of the name to find it but I'd rather not have the keyboard display. I don't remember turning this on (wouldn't know how anyway) and it's not clear how to turn it off.
Does it just appear when there are more than a certain number of favourites or can it be turned off? |

I just use POI categories for most entries and keep my *real* favourites in Favourites.
A top tip...
I use a category called !People and another called !Places. The "!" is useful because it keeps them at the top of the list.

Mark. |

Thanks for the answer and tip. I'll think about that. |

In my favourites I only keep "Work" (although that grates every time, 'cos it certainly ISN'T a favourite place ), and use it as a temorary store for new cameras and new locations, because it is less button presses to store your present location. Then I move them into POI groups for various family hobbies, activities, "New cams" etc. |
