Editing/Deleting posts

Surprisingly, I've not seen any posts about this. As far as I know, the default settings in phpBB for Public forums is to allow registered users to edit and delete their own posts. I wonder why you have decided not to allow this?
Judging by the number of duplicated/correcting posts I've seen this would be a great help if enabled.

It has been mentioned before, once or twice! ;)

Darren is looking at setting this feature up, which is not the easiest to implement due to historical reasons.

The new "Motorcycle GPS Users" forums allow users to edit their posts and it's being used as a test. Please see this thread for further details.

Having mentioned it in posts at least twice myself, the figure is probably greater!

We weren't able to this previously for a number of reasons none of which now exist.

It's on the to do list but its a long list and more urgent 'todo's' keep pushing it to the bottom of the queue!
