Hi
If you have a card reader connected to your pc & use Windows XP.
You format it in fats 32. You can also up load map files to the card via SmartST, it’s a lot quicker than via the icn.
Are you aware of the Navman problems in using large cards? It’s covered in lots of forums.
Regards

No, I use a 512Mb Kingston card in mine and have never experienced any problems at all. However, as DRP says, there can be problems. Conversly, others do use cards up to 1Mb successfully.

Go ahead, format your card, and try it out. You cannot damage your Device Wink

Hi
A week ago I purchased a PNY 1GB card (it has fast write & read speeds), last Friday arrived my new Pan European maps 2005 version 3.5.
With the old version when routing it would lose GPS signal after calculating, but no other problems
I haven’t had much of a chance to use the new software this weekend, but the few times that I have used it and played with it in the conservatory, I have not found any glitches as yet.
Regards
