3450 Reception? Whats it like

I have bluetooth but just cant afford to splash out loads of dosh, if the 3450 responds much better than the 3400 in london then its the one for me

I think a lot of us are looking for a better receiver than the 3400 especially those that don't have BT but are unsure whether the 3450 will solve the reception issues of the 3400.

Unfortunately without the unlocked version there's no way of trying others ourselves. Looking at the reviews the EMTAC sleeve looks to be the best. Any chance of a direct comparison between the 3 of them or at least the 2 navman models ?

I found reception was great, but I never had any problems with the 3400 losing fix that often, and certainly didn't notice it on the 3450. I'd recommend the 3450 over the 3400 sleeves though, just for TTFF alone.
