Im not 100% sure my gps Navman 3000 is broken. I have a suspicion it could be the software on my ipaq.

I used to have tomtom 3 installed on my ipaq, worked very well and everytime. Then tomtom 5 came out. Had a few config problems, but got the unit working. Then it stopped being so reliable. So I reverted back to tomtom 3, and it decides to work when it feels like it. However it always seems to work if I do a restore to its original state. After a few days it seems to take longer to get a signal, or it doesn't get one, or loosing it withing seconds.

Could my rom be damaged? Im not to sure what to do, as I was thinking of getting a bluetouth gps, but don't want to waste £80 if that doesn't work also.

Any tests for this, have an ipaq 3870 and a navman 3000..
