better BT GPS

Hi guy's

I have a Palm T3 with an upgraded TT 3 to 5

Hence I have the old gps thingy. Because I use the car all day and every day I hard wired the cradle and reciever so I just have to jump in the car,slide the palm in press the hot button and 20 seconds later I'm live. The reciever is always fully charged and I get the best out of it.

However where is falls down miserably is in London. It's for ever getting a dizzy fit spinning round losing signals et al.

Bearing in mind my set up -is the later TT BT GPS better, slightly better or effin so much better it's unbelievable?

Or is there another one which will work with the set up which will grab and hold on to those little suckers??

P.S I do not want to keep taking it out evrynight to recharge it etc. It must be on and perm wired.
