Are there any tom tom navigator maps for australia?

Does anyone know if Tom Tom have released maps for australia? Or if Australia is too big, more specifically Sydney, the Blue Mountains and Tasmania.

Australia maps have not yet been released AFAIK. They do exist 8)

Australia map on SD card for the TomTom are now avaliable in the UK.

They were added to the TomTOm site very recently, but they're not cheap at 249 Euros

To be honest the Australian GPS scene is a massive rip-off no matter what package you get. The prices are just stupid not just for new packages (which I can understand to a point) but map updates and especially upgrades. It's sometimes cheaper to buy the software from overseas than it is locally. I'm happy with my d3 software at the moment but I'll be damned paying $300+ for an upgrade of 1 year old software. Hence why I'm looking at alternatives to D3.

as a slight aside, are there any maps of NZ? If not, what's agood program to buy for NZ?
