I have had the same problems and e-mailed Tomtom who say the V600 is not supported.
I have connected through bluetooth and made handsfree calls on one occasion, but since then i cannot get the Tomtom to recognize the V600 at all. Although the phone does recognize the Tomtom, I cannot connect any more.

I am having the same problem. I have registered on the web site and put my product code in (although it seems this is only a storgae function ie somewhere to get the code if you forget it). I have followed the instructions on the Tom Tom and entered my email address and password (using "plus", the password to log onto the web site and the product code as the password) and still no joy. I have tried with both a Samsung D500 and a Nokia 6230 and I still get "Could not connect to service"

Hi all.
I have just read on the Tomtom site that :-

In some cases it might be necessary to set up the connection manually. Consult our Support pages for instructions.

Does anyone know if this can be done an how?

Its for a Motorola V600 and go 700.
It seems a bit strange that Tomtom support the V620 and not the V600 they are very similar phones.

Finally got to the bottom of it. Although my phone works with Tomtom, it is only sat up for wap (oranges equivalent to the Internet) full gprs is not available with the Motorola V600. Thats why i cant connect to the plus services. well at least i understand it now.
PS
Have just bought the John Clease voice, what the hell, with what i paid for the 700, whats another £7

PPS
Tomtom said that the free trail was only for traffic, so i would have had to buy any voices anyway.
bye for now
