Trying to put maps back onto Navman (smartST)

Okay, so my brother bought my mum a Navman PiN 570 for her birthday... she's trying to learn how to use it one day and as she's on the map the battery dies. She charges it up and the maps are no longer coming up!

So I figure out the maps are gone... just gone. In the SmartST settings, the map section, there is nothing to select (and the only field in the drop down box is the 'Program Files'). On the card inserted (it's about 32MB large, came with the navman), and that has only 6mb used up.

So I install everything and now i'm trying to put the south of england maps on the damn navman, thing is, not enough space and it's not seeing anything in the Pocket PC SD-CF and PC Removable Storage... not sure which one would be the card.

So I'm at a loss, I need 30 mb for the southern UK maps... yet the card has less than that free, and the maps were on there to begin with... and using the software I can't put them back on, and my mum's upset and asking me every 5 seconds which sucks... uhh... any help guys?

Have u tried resetting the PiN? It's also happened to me. I've ditched the SmartST and install TTN5 on my PiN. Loads better.
