Weather Effects on GPS Receivers

Hello Everybody!
I am having some problems with my GPS Receiver in bad weather conditions. I have just started using TOMTOM 5 Mobile with my Nokia 6680 and a Bluetooth GPS Receiver. It works fine in normal weather. But if it is raining it damn goes down and does'nt appear to be working. I was wondering if there is any solution for this problem. Thanks for veiwing my message.

yes, get a better receiver or connect an external antenna to yours.

Weather does affect GSP but not to the extend that it completely drops the signal. It's more in the area of location precision etc.
