TOM TOM 5 NAVIGATOR/BLUETOOTH.TIME INCORRECT

hi everybody,everything is working ok on hx4700 with tom tom 5,except time shown on start up. time is ahead by 2.30 hours this slowly decreases back towards right time as journey progresses.any solutions anybody please. Lloyd.

Go to settings and find "status bar preferences" select that (its on page 4 of the settings menu unless you have been messing with the menu's) - in there select all the tick boxes to on, then re-try is the time that counts down the current time, remaining time or the arival time? I get used to the arival time shifting earlier than predicted over a long trip but normally only by a few mins, at the end of the trip this shift speed up considerably - are you experiancing this in true "nav" mode or just using the demo screen to try it out? - Mike

hi, mikealder,thanks for reply will try that monday havent touched settings was running in nav mode down from tebay to cynwyd corwen,when up at tebay truckstop time was 2.30hrs out.not used it for a full journey yet but so far its working ok with hx4700.waitng for powered speaker mount .which has just am arrived from yorkshire 2weeks that took.will try your suggestion on mon to inverurie.
