Nav 1 Maps Compatibility

Has anyone successfully used Nav 1 maps with TT Nav 2? I have some of the European Nav 1 maps and have lng since upgraded to Nav 2 in UK.....off on holiday soon and have tried implementing the Spanish maps but TT Nav 2 can't see the map! Any suggestions?

Unfortunately TTN2 does not work with the 1.x maps (and vice versa) due to different data compression algorithms
