TTN3 Repeat voice instruction

In TomTom3 the "tour" of what does what tells you that if you hit the bottom of the sceen whilst in navigation mode you can hear the instruction repeated.This seems to be ok on TTN5 however on TTN3 it simply goes to a new page. Any thoughts?.

On mine you have to hit the turn indication icon in the bottom left corner - hitting anywhere else in the bottom bar switches to a map overview.

Forgot to say, it only repeats the last instruction if there actually was one. If you've gone past the point the instruction referred to or there hasn't been one yet on the journey, it just beeps.
