TomTom Invoices

My recent upgrade to TTN5 was quoted as 59 Euros.

I paid by credit card and received an invoice from TomTom which shows the total amount expressed in Euros and underneath it shows a Sterling equivalent. It doesn't have any caveat to suggest that this is an indicative conversion and as this is the final figure on the invoice I assumed that I was being invoiced in Sterling.

My credit card statement now reveals that in fact I paid in Euros and not only have the credit card company charged 2.75% commission but have clearly used a different exchange rate from TomTom as it works out a pound more.

Ok, so the total extra I've had to pay is just a couple of quid but as this is a business expense for me it's a pain in the arse having to adjust my bookkeeping entries.

I feel mislead by TomTom who in my opinion have invoiced me in Sterling but charged me in Euros.
