Hi all,
Have to say I'm really liking TT5, apart from the inability to turn off dynamic zooming in the navigator screen. I find it really annoying.
Is there perhaps a setting in the registry somewhere that can be changed to turn it off? Any registry hack experts out there?

TTN5 does not use the registry any more since neither the GO nor nor the Palm have one. All settings are in the CFG file. _________________ Lutz

Ok fair enough. Can the cfg file be edited to achieve the same goal? |

This auto zooming problem in TT5 is driving me nuts. And I know I am not the only one...
I really like TT5 apart from this, but its a showstopper - I am back on TT3 until it is resolved. I find it absolutely amazing that TomTom would leave this option out on TT5...
Any smart hackers out there that can come up with a way to turn it off?? |

TomTom do not see this as a problem. They will be happy to lose you as a customer, rather than implementing the change. _________________ Lutz

I talked to TomTom support about this problem. Their answer was: "We have implemented this to help the users. The users forget to zoom back again, and therefor we do it for you automatically"!
That is an answer just like all other answers from TomTom! |

So its officially down to the hackers out there then... :D |
