When you remove the chkdata file and replace them with the new voices what other files do you delete. ie if you delete data 21 what other voice file do you delete. i know they are in pairs . It would be a great help if i could replace up to 10 foreign voices.

Nich,

Remove all the unwanted voices via the installation CD. When you run the cd you will get a list of all the voices installed on your Go. Delete the ones you don't want then install the celeb voices.

I have heard most of these voices and in my opinion they just aren't worth it. They are close, but not close enough to be convincing.

Voices sound really bad, nothing like who they're supposed to be. Definitely not worth the money.

I have to agree....all of them are horrible...Only one that sounds good is the navigator droid (which is the only one i dont have Sad

) I thought austin powers was good but when its running its pritty crap intill he say's yer baby...which is only when u get to ur destination.

I guess the only good one out there is yoda...Sounds completely like him and is perfect for the system

I really find the inbuilt TomTom voices annoying, they all seem to have a rather abrupt tone (I am currently using the American lady where she calls a rounabout a rotary because she is a little more pleasant).

Anyhow I really miss the pleasant female voice from infomap navigator, so if anyone is reading this from that company please consider releasing a set of voices for TomTom, I will pay 20 quid!
