The question i am asking is this. Can i load three or more countries onto a 1 GB card,2)Can i travel between these countries and will the GPS recognise where it is 3) How do i know the countries are on the card,until i get there.4)Will i be able to select Map of say Germany whilst in the UK to see a destination.4)Do i have to select country when i am crossing borders Thanks. Sorry about all the questions, but i am travelling over Europe on a motorcyle and am new to theses system,s Bruce

You can use the UK with MRE and use that to get to your destination, or when you cross the channel you can switch to a new map for that country and type in your destination again to get full street level detail.

MN 4 and MN 4.2 where delivered with map export when you bought the maps of Europe. With map export it was possible to prepare routs on the PC and transfer the routs to your PDA. With MN5 this is not possible anymore.
If you have MS-AutoRout available, then you can plan your routs on the PC and transfer theme to your PDA.
