Navigator 2005 upgraded maps, really updated this time?

I just received in my email yesterday that I am able to upgrade my palm navigator 2004 software and usa maps to navigator 2005 software and usa maps. Is the maps from 2005 navigator really updated maps? The reason I ask is that I remember when I purchased navigator 2004 and I checked on different forums and I found a lot of complaints that the navigator 04 maps were old maps and atleast two-three years old. I know there are a lot of new features with the o5 palm over o4 palm but that is not enough for me to upgrade, the reason I would upgrade is if the new maps that come with o5 navigator are actually new updated maps.
Secondly, i seen on here a lot of complaints about the 2005 navigator software with different bugs people were experiencing. If the maps are actually updated maps in the tomtom 05 will I then be downgrading with the reliability of the tomtom software?

The maps may be updated, but my experience is that all the roads and freeways that were missing in 2004 are still missing in 5.0. Gotta love Teleatlas.

The upgrade was practically free and not having to do a reset after running the program in VGA mode is nice, but if you're paying money for it and hoping for a lot of map updates, I think you're might be disappointed.
