Does anyone know on TTN5.1 how to save your current location as a POI.

i.e. Petrol Stations that are not on the POI-Warner Database. Etc.

I seam only able to save thing as favourites.

On TTN3 this process was easy.


Please advise as this is really bugging me.

I can't find a way to add to the pre-defined categories. If you have a your own categories you should be able to add your current location to one. To do this select "Change preferences" then "Manage POI" and now select "Add POI" and choose a category. After selecting the category find "GPS position" and select that. Enter a name for it. That's it.

The POI Warner categories may be ok to add to, the PocketGPS camera ones can be. If not you have to create a new POI category first, then you can add to that.

To create new category that you can add to, first select "Change preferences" then find "Manage POI". To create a new category select "Add POI Category". Enter a name for the new category.
