HP4150 CRASHED: TT3 RELOAD PROBS; PLEASE HELP

My HP4150 hard resetted itself today with obvious consequences. I tried to reload my original TT3 CD. I get all the screens on desktop PC which I click OK. The third or fourth screen I'm getting is a set up screen basically showing files flying from one folder to another. But this goes on for ever and doesn't stop. Whilst that is happenning, the CD isn't doing anything in the tray.

I remember the last time I loaded the disc must be over a year or so ago and I'm sure it only took a couple of minutes.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Whilst the files are flying across (but not doing anything) soft reset your pda whilst connected. This should bring up the next screen and start loading it to your pda.

Was about to do what you said but this morning the TT3-CD kickstarted itself and got through the complete installation process without stalling. Didn't need to soft reset. But thank you for your help anyway.
