Nothing Works Anymore !!!

Hi all

Just tried to start SmartST Desktop and got the following error messages:

I then tried to uninstall SmartST Desktop and got the following message:

And finally I tried to reinstall SmartST Desktop and got the following message:

In addition to ll that, SmartST has also been rmoved from my Ipaq.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am now completely useless without my sat nav system..

Some of those symptoms are displayed when
* your RAM is going bad, or
* the program on your hard drive got scrambled

1. Download a freeware DOS RAM checker, and run it for an hour or so. Hopefully that will not be the problem

2. Manually delete SmartST3 from your hard drive. Don't worry about the entries in the registry just yet.

4. Try reinstalling SmartST v3 from the ORIGINAL disks.

If you still get the error, repeat the above four steps, but remove all references to smartST from your registry. If you don't know how to do this safely, don't attempt it.

I'll try the DOS RAM checker.

I have tried all the other steps you mention except removing it from the registry and I haven't attempted that because I don't have a clue how too....
