Voice files - TTN2

How can I record my own voice promts i TTN2? I've tried, but it wouldn't play in the navigator.

The TomTom sound files are recorded as mono 16bit/22kHz PCM files with 352 kbps. I have also tried something like mono 8bit/8kHz PCM with 64kbps. This seems to work fine also. When you record sounds, make sure they are in the same range. I haven't tried it but I'm quite sure TomTom wouldn't play stereo...



There are plenty of user produced sound packages out there for TomTom - have a look at those also.



You will need some kind of decent equipment and a good room to record the prompts.
