|
|
I'm desperate, been ringing around all morning. I am going to France next week, thought it might be a good idea to buy the map for france or the whole of europe cd. But no-one i have spoken to has either in stock. How can i get hold of either the SD card or the CD's in less than 7 days????
Any help appreciated
PS - i own a TOMTOM go classic |

Navshop don't have either the CD or SD in stock. I am now getting desperate. What can i do. I have tried all of the obvious places, e.g. links from this website, links from the TomTom website, google search!!!!!!!!! |

Several people have bought the 'old' maps from a French Website www.villagegps.com. They will post to the UK and normally post the following day
I don't know how good your French is but I've just had a look on their site and here's a link directly to the maps (hopefully).

Try Ora (one of the Tomtom distributors i think)
http://www.ora.co.uk/products/productinfo.asp?ccode=1NAVTO205
When i ordered my map last week they were getting 10 copies in so you might be lucky! |

Tried Ora - all sold out, not expecting stock for 2 weeks. My French is not that hot and i now have less than 7 days until i travel, so ordering from abroad might end up with a problem.
Thanks for the suggestions - ANY MORE |

Well looks like i am resigned to using the Major Roads of Europe that came with the TOMTOM and having a map book for backup. It seems daft to me that TOMTOM can let customers go without, by not sending out SD cards or the new CD's to retailers. I have tried everywhere - can i thank all the peeps that gave me ideas on places to try, but to no avail. |

At this moment you will probably not be able to get hold of either the CD or SD |
