TomTom Go - Confussed!!!

Currently have a TomTom Go Classic, running V5.0 firmware.

I need to navigate around Netherlands in the next couple of weeks, and I'm totally confussed about Tomtom's Maps.

In the box is Major Roads of Europe, but I'm looking for some more street detail than that.

Should I get Maps of Western Europe? Does that give me the whole of europe or one country? Do I require SD card to install them on, or is one included.

Everywhere I look, gives me so much different information - on Tomtom's site it gives the impression you have to buy the area you want. But I can't find this elsewhere.

To get detailed street maps of Europe you need to buy, from TomTom, either the country you want on an SD card (Benelux in your case), or the MOWE which has maps of 16 countries.

The new MOWE is not available at the present time.

So if i purchase the MOWE, you get pretty much the whole of europe - and you just load them onto any SD Card as you need them.

Just quite difficult to comprehend roughly £100 for MOWE or £100 or one Region on SD!

Do I take it, there is no confirmed release date on the latest MOWE maps?

TomTom are saying "end of July" for the new MOWE CDs, but they were saying "June" when I bought a set of the "old" CDs in May.

If you get the new CDs you will have the new map of GB on it so you will not need the GB update that is currently available on an SD card. You can overwrite the current GB one on your SD card with the CD copy.

If you can't wait, there seem to be old CD sets available here:

You can upgrade these for €59 + P&P from TomTom later.
