The forum has been a great help in setting up my GPS but I am still confused about the connection data. My outgoing connection reads BT-GPS-306641 and BT-GPS Com Port 1 Can anybody out there tell me whether or not this is right and if not how do I change it. Also, has anybody got any experience of using the HP 4700 with a Seidio Amplified mount I have not bought a mount as yet. If the Seidio is not right can anybody suggest a mount that will fit my 4700 which has a hinged plastic screen cover which seems to foul the sides of the mount. Cheers. |

Now you have got it working wired you should be able to set it up as other bluetooth, anyway that worked for me! I use a 4700 with one of those silver colour mounts sucks onto windscreen and works fine, i have found i don't need any amplification "Jane" can be heard over car radio as you can increase her volume if required. Only problem I've had with mount is after a while it falls off! Fortunately not yet with 4700 in it! Still it is no problem to put back on, or if you find any better mounts please let me know! |

I will see how loud Jane is before buying an amplified mount. I will keep you posted. Ken W |

I use an Arkon CM705 Powered mount which I picked up on ebay, have a look at the link below:
http://www.morpethmobiles.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=x19&cat=114
You can either fold the plastic cover all the way round behind the PDA or remove it simply when using the mount.. By the way the powered speaker is of help when wife and 3 kids are bickering, anyone of them can drown out Jane....
