Apparantly TomTom have paid John Cleese to do a Basil Fawlty voice that you can pay £9.95 for to download.
Hopefully it'll be the start of some proper "celebrity" voice downloads, instead of just imitations. |

| I'd far prefer they concentrated their efforts on releasing stable, bug-free software rather than producing (relatively) expensive gimmicks. |

| What they should do is let you have a trial for a week or so. A tenner is a lot of money for a voice so it would have to be REALLY good for me to pay for it. |

Trouble is, I'd only want to try it for a week, by then I would have found it more annoying and would have stopped using it anyway,
It's only the novelty factor which soon's wears off,

| Much to my dismay I bought this and put it in the same directory as the yoda voice on my imate Pda2k, but although I can select it from the voices list it won't play the voice. Anybody got it working? |
