Have been using TT3 with TT BT on an aging 3870, but not only is the 3870 showing its age but I'm also distinctly unchuffed by the black magic steps needed to get TT5 to talk to a TT BT receiver (ie having to go via other Serial NMEA, hook up BT to serial port each time you restart etc).

Suggestions please based on the following:
- plug and play with TT5 and TT BT receiver
- ideally VGA display
- I like iPaq construction standards but others welcome
- must have suitable Proclip holder

As I'm looking for VGA, you can assume I'm not going for a budget solution :-)

thanks, martin

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you use to enable GPS on the X50v? (I currently have a Mio 168).

Are all you guys using TT3 or TT5 as I thought there was an issue with the latest version - a mate of mine is just about to get one and at the price I don't blame him. Question is does TT5 run on the X50v correctly and reliably or not?? Mike
