T-mobile and connection to traffic

Does anyone know who to connect my samsung D500 to the pda and get the traffic thing to work as it is driving me mad and the helpless person at T-mobile thought I was taking Alien.

I can connect via the computer to traffic but it is no use when driving

Is it something t do with a phone number I should be calling??

I've tried this with two phones, a Nokia 6310i which worked after i addeded a modem string in the PDA that a friend had in his setup and a different dialup no. that told on the tmobile site, try these settings on your PDA
dialup no. *99***1#
username user
password leave empty
domain leave empty

hit the advanced tab and
Baud rate 19200
in the extra dial string modem commands enter : -
+CGDCON=1,"IP","general.t-mobile.uk"

I left everything else as standard.

The phone settings are usually as per the internet using a google search.

My other phone is a SVP C500 and I still can't get it to work.....

have you contacted t mobile
to make sure your phone is gprs enabled
aso that it has gprs data added
i have been a month sorting mine out on vodafone
you need to put settings int o the phone

Thanks for all your help, finally cracked it, withno help from T-mobile who quoted me the wrong number to dial and password.

Now lets see if traffic is better than traffickmaster
