Hi all,
Which system is best if you want a decent gps street navigation with talking directions and includes the ability to add the camera database.
I have a budget of @£2-300...
There are so many different ones about. I don't mind if it's a mobile phone/pda type one if the software on it is decent...
Any ideas which to go for... I'm tempted by the aldi medion (if there are any left) but it doesn't seem easy to add the database...
Any help or opinions greatly appreciated...
Thanks
Simon

I have a tomtom 3 set up for sale at £275 delivered, all you will need to purchase is a mount as mine has a faulty speaker.
it is all on a iPAQ 4150 PDA with speed camera databse installed already.
PM me or email me on rob.mckie@gmail.com to discuss if your interested.
Cheers

Has anyone any recommendations?
cheers for your help....

If you want to add your own POI's I would suggest tomtom3 as the overlays are freely available on the internet and from this website.
I have only ever used tomtom3 and navman, and I much prefer the interface on tomtom.
everyone has their own opinion of course, and it might be best to go to somewhere that sells the different units and have a play with them to see which you get on with best.
I know most large halfords stores now stock several different types of sat nav, as do pc world etc.
Hope this helps.
