Hi,

How do you see your order and status?

I placed the order last night and it said that payment had been sucessfully authorised and I would be e-mailed a confirmation.

However, I have not received any e-mail and when I log into the tomtom site, I can't see anything about orders.

Hi,

An SD card and 6 CD's for the 59 Euro's?? - that's good.

How long did it take from ordering, to the status changing, to it saying it was shipped?

My order and shipping were at about the same time for both.

BTW - strange that they say there is an SD card - the website says of the upgrade -

"TomTom NAVIGATOR 5 upgrade exists of a CD-set including the new NAVIGATOR 5 software and the latest updated TeleAtlas maps of either Europe or the USA & Canada (based on the area of your initial purchase). A Major Roads network of Europe is included for cross-border navigation to any town in Europe!"

My Dutch friends say "exists of" when they mean "consists of".

Typical, I asked them if the upgrade came on SD card or CD and they mailed e back with "No SD card" I've just ordered a new card and now it looks like it WILL be on SD card Rolling Eyes

Mine's here! Does not include an SD card , rather there is an installation CD plus 6 map CD's. The instructions are a bit vague is is not helped by the fact that although the map CD's are numbered there is no further clue as to which is the GB set. I am happy to confirm that this is CD1.

Don't ditch UKpostcode search just yet as there seems to be issues with the fullpostcode search in N5. It doesn't yet work for me Rolling Eyes

Anyone using a CF GPS receiver will probably need to have their software handy as there is no option nfor this type of receiver in the set up. Mine's okay now.

You can migrate your favs, POI's and recent addresses on PPC but not on Palm apparently.

Anyone who can help with the postcode thing would nice Confused

Mine was "shipped" on 7th but according to UPS has not moved from Apeldoorn since. I have the email - no mention of partial delivery though like some people.

I've been adding them in for a while today. I have the postcode problem too, stupid thing Rolling Eyes

I do wish TomTom had made their maps croppable like Destinator as I'll have to buy a 1gb card for a European trip comming up as I cant fit the UK, Italy and the bit of France I have to travel through on a 512mb card. I could rely on major roads but the places I am stopping off in France are not included and I don't fancy asking a local for directions 8O Laughing

Lets hope the postcode issues get sorted - cannot believe they ship like that!
