Nokia 6680 with TT Mobile 5

Hi

I know this has been asked before but I am being offered a free upgrade to the 6680 and all the shops tell me that the phone is not supported by TomTom. I have tried contacting TomTom and they just send a standard email saying that they are thinking about adding more phones to the compatability list.

I know that the O/S for this phone is meant to be very similar to the Nokia 6630 which is supported, but has anyone actually had a chance to try TT 5 on the Nokia 6680?

It's a lot of money to spend if it doesn't quite work properly, so if anyone has got it running then please let me know.

This asked the same question as yourself about TomTom & the 6680.
In theory it should work ok as it's only the screen colours & extra camera that chaneg it from the 6630, the opertaing system is the same & if TT is ok on the 6630 as it is then the 6680 should be fine.

Of course if you already have TT on a dual voltage MMC, why noit take that & your GPS into your local store & give it a go on an actual phone?

I have TomTom Mobile V4.43 running on a 6680, with a TomTom GPS unit. So V5 should be no problem

Is that using the standard BT GPS receiver and what memory card are you using?
