I'm running TomTom 3.03, and I've installed ukpostcode as instructed, but it crashes my pda. The ukpostcode program opens ok, but when I type in a postcode, and click "navigate to", my pda just crashes, and I have to go into the settings and end task the ukpostcode program. I have a Typhoon myguide 5500xl, and I've had this working before, but I had to send the pda back for repair, and they wiped the unit.
Anybody have any idea what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.
Have you also got CheckPOInt reinstalled?
If not did you perform this step of the installation instructions:-
Quote:
Use Windows Explorer to copy the 'TTNControl.arm.cab' file to the 'My Documents' folder on your PPC. Then, using File Explorer on the PPC, locate this .cab file and double tap to install it. The .cab file will self delete following installation.
I've tried it with Checkpoint installed, and missing out the step you mentioned, and also without checkpoint, and doing the step you mentioned in your quote. Same results both times.
