I want some info.about sat-nav in a mobile phone. Is it better than a PDA?Can I use it while walking in a city centre?Do I have to ring somewhere everytime I want to go somewhere?I like the campactness of a mobile phone.

No because the screen is smaller and you can't use the stylus to point at things directly. However the PDA's largeness can also be it's downfall.

Yes. You carry the GPS bluetooth receiver about your person somewhere and it will talk to the phone.

No. It uses functions of the phone completely unrelated to making any calls.

You need to make sure it is compatible of course.
