Tacky crap overload and no sign of any decent impressions of famous people. I know there are a few (very expensive) ones on voice skins but they aren't very good.
Why can't someone actually get some famous people to do these, it wouldn't take them long to get the samples in a recording studio.
I previously mentioned that Eddie Izzard and Jeremy Clarkson would be cool but also imagine Monty Python, David Hayter (Solid Snake), Brian Blessed or Tom Baker.
These would be worth buying. |

I have a tom tom go i can't get Sylvia to work
the zip contains 3 files:
data79.bmp
data79.chk
data79.vif
and I have copied these files to my SDcard |

And I would like Kylie and Razorlight singing and,and, and it must be easy for a dutch IT company to get any celeb that we ask for to do samples  I'm sure Eddie Izzard has nothing better to do. Whoops just woke up and entered the real world  |

I coundn't get it to work, untill the new map upgrade card arrived - In this there is a file called "voices" copy to that file and away we go. |

Getting the real celebs into a studio would be costly, its never going to happen. What is more achievable is getting a decent mimic i.e. John Coleshaw or Alistair McGowan to do them :D |

If you think the UK voices are bad, don't even think about trying the US ones!

If you got these (ileagaly?) from a mate then they are not going to work for you. The PLUS voice files are encrypted and will only work on the device on which they were downloaded to.

Mike, now that you've done the POI sound files for the cameras, do you guys have any plans to produce voice skins of your own?
Also, would you mind sharing how you managed to edit the data.chk, I can do the voice files, but the lack of an associated .vif file with data.chk (on version 5 at least) means I can't do that. If you could that would be very useful |
