Charger for Tomtom Classic

Will it be ok to charge my new tomtom 300 using the AC adapter which came with my Tomtom Go Classic?

You are probably not going to believe me but the manager insisted i only send the unit and the charger back to Tomtom for repair. Since then and him giving me the new tomtom 300 he didn't mention all the other bits and bobs and neither did I Rolling Eyes
