If you select one of the kits, and scroll down, past all the details of the car kit etc. it does say "pre order now" but that's the only place I saw. If you click the "buy now" button it doesn't appear to warn you it's a pre-order!

Based on previous updates, can we expect to see a reasonable drop in price of Tomtom 3 packages as stores try to clear the old stock?
So far I've seen at least one site advertising TT3 at only £10 less than TT5. Hardly a great difference |

Its still not clear if there's to be any upgrade path from TT3 to TT5, and even if there is, how much this will cost.
Imagine if TT3 was discounted hugely now, an upgrade would'nt really be more than about £50 I would have thought .. so they could'nt discount more than that. |

The upgrade path isn't important, if stores have TT3 stock which isn't sale or return they will want to get rid of it by any means necessary, even if it means making a loss. |
