when using tom tom the gps status says there are 8+ Satellites connected/in view but the map seems to freeze up every 5-10 mins even with external antenna. the gps status still shows Satellites in view but the satellite.....pda icon shows the card is not communicating with the pda. to re-establish the connection i have to restart tom tom.
which settings should i have the gps status set to? tom tom 3 only has a selection for the gm-270 not the 270 ultra

Hello everyone,

Thankyou for bringing this matter to our attention.......we are currently trying to replicate the problem here, however looking around it would seem that HP are developing a ROM update to resolve this problem

this update (http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/HandheldiPAQ/us/locate/1120_6142.html) has fixed the problem based on my drive home this evening!!
