I have just bought the European maps. France and Great Britain are both v398. I have not checked the rest of Europe yet. Hope this helps. Phil

I've had exactly the same problem, but mines not been connected to the 12 volt adaptor. It's happend three times in as many weeks, hopefuly this won't be along term problem!
