The mini USB is used for charging only. To use the GPS with a PC you need to connect via Bluetooth.
GPSInfo on my PC (WinXP) doesn't see my Globalsat 359 when I scan COM ports. Any ideas?

i bought qstarz 818 receiver (MTK chipset) to work with SonyEricsson P990. But I'm returning it as it has problems with bluetooth dropouts.
