I have a Tomtom 400 and have to use a 2.1Amp car cig lighter USB adapter. If not the Tomtom won't charge from a lower powered USB adapter.
Have you tried a high power adapter or is this reply no help ...

Tomtom works well and their HD traffic is brilliant, in my opinion.
Also the traffic is half price at the moment

A bit of good news, the latest update for the 400 allows navigate to GPS coordinates, about time too

Thanks PaulB. I had background app refresh disabled for all apps.
Have now enabled it for camera alert and will road test today.

I am running this on an IPhone 5 with iOS 7.02.
When I have the app running in the background I get no warnings.
It works fine if it is the main running app.
Is this normal for the new version?

Well I can't get it to work this morning so I guess i got one lucky file trasfer.
Now using POI Viewer which in my opinion is great as you can use Satellite view and google street view too with it

Ok, I used disk aid tonight to copy over a custom poi group.
I got the usual error message that occurs now with ios6.
When I checked on tomtom the updated file has been copied over as the new poi's ...

Mike, are you saying you can still add custom POI files after upgrading to IOS6 and Diskaid 5.4?
If so is your Iphone a 4 or 4S?

I am running Diskaid 5.4 and IOS 6 and can no longer copy over any custom POI files to the TomTom Iphone app.

Apart from the POI Icons having a shadow effect I cannot see any obvious changes. I did get a map share update.

I have just purchased the 1005 after using a 720 for years. How do I add custom poi's to the 1005? I cannot see the device in 'my computer' yet 'my tomtom' sees it. Any help appreciated

Was just trying to be helpful about the Bluetooth receiver option. I meant to type 'Ipad2 wifi only version' does not have GPS.

The iPad 2 does not have built in GPS. I have purchased a GNS 5870 MFI Bluetooth GPS receiver and this works seamlessly with the iPad2. Tested with Tomtom and Viewranger so far. Very Happy
