Hi I am having problems with my 910 too.

I bought it at the end of April from PCworld, it has constantly had problems, including resets at random occasions, time not kept, no microphone on incomin ...

I'm not 100% sure but I think it only started after the upgrade to 6.11

Also have that on my 910, occurs after the splash screen has been visible for a few seconds, lets me know that it won't be long till it's operational, have no idea what it is, or if it should do it.

I have had the exact same experience as you, so much so that I have stopped using the MP3 player on my 910. I found using it made the unit very flaky, would reset itself during use every other day.

I have 1334 MP3 files on my 910, the 910 will "find" all 1334 songs when it first looks at them, but when you start playing the songs it suddenly says there are only 1199 songs!

After more use I am finding the MP3 player to be very unreliable. I am constantly get the "there has been an error during playback" message after the end of the first song, and now more often than not ...

Got a reply from TomTom support about the pausing music during instructions.

The option for pausing music while given route instructions is on ...

It just plays out of the external speaker, if you have selected this option and you are getting music out of the GO unit then it hasn't clicked onto the mount properly(or you have a faulty mount)
