.... I did however have full POI capability on the device
......any POI file management is limited to the in built TomTom supplied POI, you are barred from any changes to Custom POI files.

| answered my own question (i think). The tomtom site has a manual for the 3rd edition, and mentions doing a backup, manually deleting maps and installing new maps. looks like I need the EU version with ... |

| Was just about to buy a One Uk or EU, but at a later date, want the USA maps. Can this still be done ?- presumably by backing up the unit first, deleting maps then adding in the USA ones - than revert ... |
