Hi, I have tried mine in a mondeo & fiesta with heated screens, and whilst i can get a signal in the corner, i found if you look at the sat screen, its a pretty weak frantic signal usually only 3- ... |

Well all its done for me is ensure I NEVER "upgrade" my maps again. That cant be good for TT, and Im sure others feel the same. |

Just so you know i tried the data.chk file with V5 firmware and it doesnt work... as youd probably expect. But it was worth a try anyway. |

I'm almost certain the TT Nav 3 maps WILL NOT work with the TTGO. Its a pain, and unfortunate, but Ive read in several places that it won't, I just wish I could find where I read it, so you could see ... |

One thing you can do is choose "Use Smaller Keyboard" from "Change Preferences" this allows a list of three, but is more fiddly if you do want to use the keyboard.... |

Maybe this is another little "characteristic" of the TTG? I think you are right - there is no way to remove the keyboard, it assumes in this menu that you want to search for the favourite required. ... |

Oh and if your question is does the Tomtom Go work with Tomtom Navigator 3 then the answer is no, because it already has maps to work with it. |

Frazzle has used both faster cards and slower cards and says he didnt notice a difference in the TTG, but yet it would be faster when plugged into the PC I suppose. |

I think if you make a backup of the whole SD card you do not need to reactivate it. As the "Map" is already pre-activated. However when installing from the CD I imagine you would have to activate it. ... |

I know what you mean, but my TTG picks up satellites indoors sometimes with no access to the sky! So the A-B function wouldnt even work when inside for me. |
