If you have a GPS enabled smartphone, Co Pilot navigation software from Alk will accept a co-ordinate input in either alpha numeric or full numeric OSGB format and enter it as a destination.

True but as you have already stated that your database is not compatible, I was just letting the OP know that it is still possible to update the unit without having to maintain a Talex subscription.
